The state I am in now. For the 5 people who have never gotten high, I will try to explain it. at first, before you are really high, you become really giddy and will laugh at the slightest thing. you also may remember random things and pointlessly share them. When you are high, it feels very much like your dreaming. when you are sober, it may be hard to remember wut happened when you were high, much like how its hard to remember a dream after you wake up. when you are high, your vision gets messed up. some people compare it to watching your vision in a movie theater. for example, if you turned on your tv while high, it may seem like you are sitting in a movie theater watching a movie of yourself turning on a tv in the first person. also, you see things in a different perspective. if you are high enough, your own house can seem completely different\! music is also heard in a different perspective. it can seem like the music surrounds you. I like to describe it as being "in the music". Different music can have different effects on you. old school rock can make you trip out or go crazy. rap can make you freestyle better than you ever thought possible. techno can actually sound cool. your balance and coordination are afffected when you are high. you frequently move around and almost fall if you're high enough. simple tasks (like typing this) can be a lot harder when you're high. also watching things can be different, particulary animated things. I strongly recomend watchin the animatrix while high to find out what im talkin about. i tried my best to explain being high, but really the only way to understand it is to get high yourself. so, for you five who have never gotten high, go get lots of weed and smoke it now\! Note: once you've been smoking weed for a while, it can be very hard to achieve the state i described.

You know your *high* when you exhibit the following characteristics: 1. you laugh uncontrollably because you realize how high you are and how high everyone else is and how everything else you wouldn't give a second thought about when your sober is now compltely ridicoulous. 2. your vision gets really sensitive and your eyes may feel like they're messed up. don't worry, thats just pressure being relieve from them caused by an excess of blood flow to the cornea and conjuctiva. 3. you find yourself thinking about something deeply introspective (metacognition) and then completely forget what you were thinking about, then spend all your mental energy on trying to remember what you were thinking about, only for you to forget that you were trying to remember something you forgot about and just start to think about something completley different. 4. your sexual desire will increase, and you will talk to anything that you want to engages in sexual intercourse with, with complete disregard for what your actually saying. if you do engage in a sexual act you will find that it will be incredible and every sensation you feel will be better by an exponential margin. 5. music sounds amazing. you will hear every single instrument used, without really listening to it. certain genres of music and certain musicians will make your high feel elevated. music will put your mind into a pensive and contemplative state and you can spend hours engaged in this activity. 6. your apetite will increase and you will find that every piece of food you consume tastes ridiculously amazing. you will not realize how much food you consume until someone tells you that you ate the entire bag of cheetohs, at which point you will look for a bag of doritos or fun-yuns 7. you will aprecciate everything around you and a state of absolute euphoria will encompass your psychological activity. Stress and worry will be reduced by a large amount. 8. confusion sets in and you will find yourself baffled at very elementary problems. (Note** never do you homework or attempt to take a test under the influence of marijuana) heres a tip: get your group of your best friends and some weed over to your back yard. turn on some pink floyd or bone thugs-n-harmony. roll a blunt, (cigar sized marijuana cigarette) pass it around, relax and enjoy the good time your spending with your friends.

Hard to describe, but basically the feelings that you get after smoking a whole load of weed. After the first few J's you get a bit light-headed and if you keep smoking then everything can seem absoluteley hilarious and set yuo laughing for a good ten minutes, especially funny shit on TV, or funny words like 'Gognay'. After the giggles stage you get unbelievably lazy and physically cant move off the sofa, unless you have the munchies as well when you go and demolish the whole cupboard full of food. When you're high music and film can seem to have a deeper relevance and more meaning to you. You can also spend ages looking at nothing in particular and getting forgetful and confused, which is hilarious. After that inevitably come sleep usually, and you spin out when you put your head down, I also get real paranoid sometimes. SO basically thats what being high is and its fuckin great to be honest. beats getting pissed anyday.

I guess it can be best related as a wonderful warm fuzzy feeling throughout your body, slowly coursing from head to toe. you can feel.. seriously.. everything in your body just like.. buzzing with intense warm heat. and you feel so relaxed. you feel like a big wet noodle. well, a semi-wet noodle. one that hasn't been.. well... fully wettnened.. fuck if I know.. but yeah. there ya go.

Under the influence of marijuana. Everything seems to slow down, and become better. Music seems much better, and you seem to understand it more. While high people may experience enhanced creativity and artistic skills. A high individual can still function, however he/she will not be crisp. Some people are able to drive as good as normal, because they are aware of the imparement, and are able to control themselves. A high can last from 40 minutes to several hours, depending on the quality, strain, and method of smoking(pipe, joint, blunt, bong, blades, lungs etc.) New users may experience a bad high, panic attacks, very red eyes, and coughing their heads off.

being high is probably one of the funnest things you can do. you simply cannot deny that if you smoke. if you don’t smoke, don’t continue to read this. you will not comprehend anything you are about to read. --- when you are high, your life becomes so much more vulnerable to fun and excitement, the littlest things become too entertaining to describe. --- t.v. is always so much more entertaining when under the influence of marijuana; for example: music videos always seem SO much more amazing. random, annoying t.v. shows that normally seem irritating and scripted, such as maury or jerry springer, all of a sudden seem SO enthralling and intense. you also discover what shows and movies were written by people whom were high. every show has someone who 'looks like someone you know'. you discover that a black women's restriction to beating their boyfriend’s ass is to bounce their knees up and down on their chair real quick and bob their head around a lot and swear and wave their arms. they also repeat sentences or numerous words over and over again. like, 'oh you already know, you already know'. background music in commercials are incredibly fun to dance to. it all sounds like techno for some reason. shows like family guy and movies like half baked finally make SO much sense. matter of fact, so does a lot of other things. --- eating is always much more pleasurable, every food seems exotic and foreign in taste. eating seems to bring down your high though, and makes it seem much shorter. you may discover not eating makes your high seem SO much longer. you consume things you normally never would have, and wonder how you lived without it. every food you can't stop eating is automatically you're legit 'munchie food' --- you recall past memories from your childhood that you hadn't thought about in years. you know you're high when you do random little jigs to yourself. houses you’ve rarely been in are especially fun when you’re high. almost everyone goes through the ‘laughing fit’, where you laugh so hard over absolutely nothing that your insides are completely sore. this is rare after a long time of smoking, though. an intense feeling of confusion inserts into your brain and you find simple things like rainfall to be ridiculously hard to understand and interesting. being your complete self doesn't seem that hard to do anymore. there’s almost always a permanent smile on your face, it’s hard to make it go away, even while your preparing the 4 bags of tostitos to make nachos for 2. you have consistent 'revelations' and try your hardest to explain what you found out. everyone, and everyTHING, you see, ‘knows’ you’re high, from your younger brother who walked by and said ‘what’s up’ to the squirrel you had to pass by on the way back inside. you spray every febreeze, axe can, and perfume bottle you see on everyone and everything you feel smoke smell is evaporating off of. not a lot seems to be bothering you anymore, and tomorrow seems light-years away. you just want to live for the moment. insignificant, diminutive noises, such as birds chirping, seem very loud and unnoticed before that very moment. --- when you are high, music sounds overall godlike. parts or solo's in songs occur, but you've never once heard of them before. being high made you listen. dancing comes as natural as breathing. strobe lights/and or black lights always enhance your dancing mood. --- be careful when amongst parents or other weed-hating people, it may be very obvious you are under the influence of such grand highness. your eyes will be very glossy, almost looking like that of a doll. they are also slightly tinted red, a dead give away. not to mention how tired and squinty they will be. the smell of weed smoke doesn’t last as long as that of a cigarette’s, but it is still always good to spray and maybe use a few eye drops. --- most common terms for weed consist of: ‘pot’ ‘bud’ ‘maryjane’ ‘grass’ ‘trees’ ‘ganja’ and obviously plenty of others --- remember, this fascinating plant came from this earth, and it’d be a tragedy to waste it’s valuable recourses. blaze on\!

After inhaling the cannabis, you will feel somewhat fuzzy, like your body is outlined with a tingly sensation. Once this occurs you know you are only beginning to feel the high. After many more tokes, you will say to yourself: "Yes, I am getting higher and higher." When it all sets in and you've become "stoned" your eyes begin to become squinty and dry. The world now, may look like a skipping movie, or it may seem as if you are watching your own life on television. When someone's talking it is also normal to actually hear the words 2-3 seconds after they have said it. Eventually you may think of random funny moments in your life, and begin to laugh out loud for an unnecessary amount of time. And of course the people your with will say, "haha your really high aren't you?" And you think yes, yes i am (but you just laugh instead of saying yes). The conversations that you hear when you are high will have much more meaning than when you are sober and maybe even a little confusing. If you think of a story to tell and forget what you were going to say to everyone don't be surprised- for everyone has surely done this. Once you forget you will try to remember your story for about 15 minutes (or 1 minute but it'll seem like 15) and you'll realize that it is honestly impossible to recall it from your memory at the moment. So, instead, you continue watching TV. When you are watching TV or video games ect, it may be too much to bare. Two minute commercials will last about 10 minutes each in the state that you are in. And during video games your eyeballs are too slow to follow the people running/fighting. When you are high, I've experienced anyways that you talk to yourself in your head a lot more. You may be talking to yourself and realize how stupid your thoughts and comments are, and thank yourself that you didn't say any of that shit out loud. Tripping, and a loss of coordination is also a side effect. You may experience jerkier movements. "The munchies" is the best side effect. During this stage I believe that your stomach goes numb because no matter how much you eat it seems to never get enough. Your mouth begins to water and every bite tastes like the first and everything you eat seems five times better. It seems like you're not eating that much at the time, but when you think back, you ate a lot\! Then eventually you say alright that's enough food I guess I don't want to weigh 400 lbs tomorrow. Usually after the eating stage, you will begin to feel tired or your eyelids feel as if they weigh 5 pounds each and you absolutely must close them. Yes, if feels so good\! Once this happens you are down for the count, and will eventually pass out and you will have the best sleep of your life.

If you haven't been high, I HIGHLY recommend it.

Then you laugh at everything that happens next. If someone told you your whole family was murdered you would laught at it and ask for another joke. You lose some motor skill. Driving is a little impaired but for the experienced stoner its not a problem. Depending on the amount of bud smoked and the quality of the herb your high should last 1-4 hours. The feeling you get after smoking sweet, sweet Mary Jane. Vaporizers, joints, blunts, bowls, bongs -- it don't matter, 'cause we're high\! It's hard to explain if you've never tried weed before, but here it is: 1. Voice Before it really sinks in, everything's just really funny; you're high, they're high, and somehow, that's really funny. Words that never seemed humorous are suddenly the shit and words that never made sense together now make perfect sense. Forgetting things is frequent; you'll be mid-sentence, forget the sentence, struggle to remember, forget that you were trying to remember something, then make a whole new sentence. Some people talk louder without realizing it when they're high; others get quieter. 2. Hearing Music sounds amazing; like it's all around you, coming at you from all directions. Almost like a movie theater. You're so out of it you even think YOU sound good singing. 3. Vision Things may look almost holographic, like they're popping out at you. That's probably because your eyes are mad big. People seem to look a lot hotter than before, and you may also feel like people are watching you.. Trust me, they are. 4. Taste If you're high at all, you'll be hungry. Try not to go too insane -- you'll regret it when you're sober. One thing I noticed is that everything tastes 1000000x better; stronger, I guess. 5. Touch You're incredibly self-aware; you have this warm feeling of security all around you. Cold things may not feel cold or hot things may not feel hot. 6. Behavior People who are normally not affectionate are suddenly all over each other. Stoner hugs are commonplace. You might have deep thoughts or you might think total nonsense. You're often incredibly gullible, which makes it ridiculously easy to trip someone out. Some people have mood swings when they're high; they'll get paranoid or throw a hissy fit over random shit. 7. Balance/Coordination There really isn't any. Holding onto other people isn't just for the affection but to stay off your ass. The ground often feels tilted to the right or left, or the world may seem to spin around you. 8. Memory None of that, either. You'll often leave stuff places and forget where you put it, or think you left something somewhere when it's actually in your hand. It may be hard to remember what you did when you were high once you've sobered up. 9. General Feeling A feeling of content bliss. Time passes really slowly and that's just the way you like it. Nothing can possibly go wrong. You really don't give a damn what's going on around you; the feeling's all encompassing. Zombie invasion? Okay, then. Terrorist bomb? That's great. Apocalypse? Not today, 'cause God loves you tokers\! Some other terms are; baked, toked, stoned

Probably the best feeling EVER\! When you're buzzing, you start feeling pretty good about yourself, and you have a big grin on your face. When you're high, you laugh uncontrollably, almost for minutes on end. A few times, I laughed so hard, I wasn't breathing and I was crying, lol. When you're high, you think you're the smartest person in the world. To you, people say the stupidest things. When you're high, you feel really slow. When you try to go fast, you...don't go fast. Simple as that. You feel more appreciative towards music, especially hip-hop. I recommend Tech N9ne and BTnH when you're high. When going out in public high, ALWAYS spray some cologne or smell-good shit on, and use VISINE. I don't recommend going to school high, but I do it sometimes anyway. In school, you don't do your work, and it's rather boring. I don't know what to say about going to work high. I guess it depends all on what you do. And THAT...is my definition of high.

The feeling (or rather, multitude of feelings) that comes on after smoking weed. The sensations you feel when you're high are hard to describe, but I'll try to tackle each one individually since it's such a wonderful thing that everyone should experience at some point. Keep in mind that these descriptions are based only on my personal experiences (and possibly some I've heard from friends). The high varies from person to person but it's pretty much always enjoyable. Positive Effects 1. The euphoria. In my mind, euphoria doesn't really describe being high since if you've never gotten high you don't really know what people mean by euphoria. My first time experiencing euphoria (wasn't actually my first time smoking weed) was one of the best moments of my life. I had already smoked a shitload of weed, gone for a long walk with some friends, and returned to a friends house. I was crashing and decided to smoke some more. Lying on my friend's couch, I suddenly had this overwhelming feeling of bliss. For no particular reason, I just muttered over and over again - "I feel soooo good right now." 2. Deep/introspective thinking. While the experience is different for everyone, I wouldn't go so far as to say I think deeply, philosophically, or introspectively while I'm high. Rather, when I start to think, I go into a sort of trance where I know what's going on around me, but I don't exactly process any of it. I am completely focused on my thoughts. I guess it's almost like tripping. If you ever get an experience like this, immediately listen to Phish. 3. Increased appreciation for music and senses in general. Depending on the setting, type of weed, and the music, the appreciation you feel can differ, but it's always awesome. Sometimes, you simply recognize the skill and talent required to compose the music you're listening to. Other times, you sort of twitch and move to the music unconsciously until it sort of feels like you're part of the music. When you start doing that weird, amazing thinking I described, listening to a good band can take you into a dreamworld. This is really indescribable, partly because it's such a foreign feeling and partly because you probably won't remember most of this experience once you sober up. Other senses are also more sensitive when high - touch, smell, taste. One interesting note - busting a nut while high is a great feeling. 4. Laughter. When you're high, things are just generally funnier. However, a specific sort of humor (which may vary depending on person) usually makes you just completely laugh uncontrollably. When high, some things are just so ridiculous, you find them absolutely hysterical. I suggest watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force while high - it's frickin' awesome, especially the Dickesode. 5. Relaxation. Sometimes, weed will not relax you but just make you experience the above effects intensely. However, many strains of marijuana sort of make you relax. This is because when you're high, you often get this feeling that if you stand up, some invisible force pulls you back down, forcing you to sit or lie down. Once down again, it feels like your body is melting into the surface on which you're resting. It's pretty neat. 6. Other. Even when they're not high, many stoners simply enjoy life more. After experiencing a really good high, you will generally just appreciate the beauty of the world more profoundly. This might not happen very often for all I know, but it has happened to me. Neutral Effects 1. The munchies. The severity of the hunger you feel while high varies from person to person. For me, it's almost intolerable, almost painful. The munchies are weird because the hunger you feel is not normal. You feel incredibly empty and the thought of eating seems wonderful to you, even if you've already eaten. Furthermore, when you're high, food tastes REALLY good. I suggest chicken wings and/or Double Stuf Oreos. I also advise drinking carbonated drinks when you're REALLY stoned as the feeling of little bubbles exploding in your mouth is incredible. 2. Bloodshot eyes. The severity of this symptom varies, but usually your eyes just get really red. The only downside to this is that it makes it pretty easy to tell whether or not someone is high. In addition, your eyelids just sort of refuse to open fully sometimes. 3. Slowness. This is partly a result of the relaxation. Since you always feel like you're being pulled down, moving is hard and takes concentration sometimes. 4. Drymouth. Smoking weed makes your mouth really dry. It's not dangerous, but if you're inexperienced or the high is intense, you might think that your throat is closing up even if it's not. Just drink something - it'll calm you down and taste delicious. 5. Hallucinations. This has never happened to me, so I can't really comment, but you probably need to eat cannabis to get this effect and, even then, I think it's still pretty rare. Don't expect to trip balls (like with lsd) or anything though, even if you do hallucinate. 6. Altered sense of time. While high, time usually seems to slow down. Although this is listed as a neutral effect, it could be considered positive since it makes the high seems like it's lasting longer than it really is. 7. Short-term memory loss. Although this may seem like a bad thing, it only lasts for a little while, maybe even not lasting through the whole high. It can also be kinda cool since when you forget what you were talking about sometimes you see cool visuals in your head of the thought flying away or something (that always happens to me). Negative Effects Although being high is amazing, there are occasionally negative effects. None of these are too bad, but they're unpleasant nonetheless. 1. Anxiety. This is the most common negative effect of marijuana. Anxiety can occur as a result of inexperience, too much experience, bad weed, or a poor setting. Basically, you just feel really nervous and anxious, but this always passes if you move into a more comfortable setting. Never get high alone at night - it's pathetic and scary. 2. Paranoia. This is usually the result of the anxiety, but oftentimes, you may find that you believe everyone is watching you or that you have a spy. This feeling will pass so long as you are with friends if you just relax and think about pleasant things. 3. Other. There are other negative effects, but none of them are very serious at all and usually appear far worse if you experience the anxiety of paranoia mentioned above. 4. Crashing. The high from marijuana only lasts a few hours (although it may seem like longer) and the come-down can be quick to appear. After the high completely wears off, you may feel pretty groggy for a few hours. This will pass, though. 5. Long-term effects. The long-term negative effects of smoking marijuana are pretty much the same as with any other substance that you smoke - lung damage. However, it's possible that long-term use may also impair your memory. The study that weed causes schizophrenia, however, is mostly bullshit (unless you've got a history of it in your family). Overall, I would say that being high is usually a pretty magical experience. I recommend weed to anyone in high school or older.

The feeling is honesetly somtimes really really hard to explain but i will do my best. Just as it sounds. To be as HIGH as a kite. To be able to feel what a bird feels when you close your eyez and begin to access you imaginative cortex of your brain. Your heart beats faster in the begginning and your eyez grow, followed by a temperature(if you dont get a temp. then your not high enough......take another hit\!). You will find yourself laughing at the most miniscule(smallest) things, and your perception will widen. YOu will start to notice things you never would have noticed if sober. Everyone i belive has a inner person living inside who doesnt come out too often, Marijuanna brings em out. He will be very different than YOU. Not all the time but he will be everything your not, meaning he will be rude and clumsy and will get you into trouble(So please use this as a recreational activity and dont drive when high. Only continuous users can handle driving and even they mess up. I wanted to finish here but thats just the tip of the iceberg. One cornea in your eye will get big and one will become small, some more than others. Some people get aggressive when high, some get nice and comfortable. Depends on the person but mostly on the type of Herb(type of marijuanna). Music, Video Games, Movies(especially Comedies) highten the high. If your at a party youll find youve never danced like you did or somtimes the opposite happens. The sound of the music whether Rap or classical will be heard in a totally different perspective. You will find yourself standing/sitting and listening so carefully as if its the last track that will ever be played again, and when finished you will be like OHH WWWOOOWWW dat was tooo kooo man " PLay DAt Shit AGAIN" and you just might be at it for a few hours or so before you realize that you had to be at work an hour ago. I work at an arcade and i got high with a co worker once. And so i go to a car game and stare at it thinking how freakin koo it is, the car when racing looked like a spaceship. High, it's pretty simple but with several twists and turns. Already, you can tell I am high and that is why I begin this with complete nonsense. However, high is when the most unrealistic things that occur seem completely real, and the real seems compltely unrealistic. At times, while being high some sort of an invention, great idea can be thought of and make you feel as if it will make you millions one day. Not only do you think of some crazy ideas, but you are able to tell the deepest and most intense lies and feel as if everyone believes you. Food, oh let me tell you about food. Many a time I have found myself trying to describe what being high is like. In all honesty there cannot really be a single definition of this state of being, seeing as almost every different high (at least for me) seems to play out somewhat different.
